PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

• Payment-related information required to initiate or confirm a transaction. Payments are processed by Razorpay or another payment provider displayed at checkout. We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete card number, UPI PIN, CVV or online-banking password.

• Artisan and artist application information, including your public or studio name, location, craft or art form, experience, creative journey, production process, collaboration interests, portfolio or social-media links, photographs of your work, your personal photograph when voluntarily provided, and your consent declaration.

• Communications sent to us by email, WhatsApp, contact forms or customer-support channels.

• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, session information and cookie identifiers.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA

We collect personal data:

• directly from you when you submit a form, create an account, place an order or contact us;

ARTISAN AND ARTIST APPLICATIONS

Information and photographs submitted through the Join Ajaayabghar form are used to review your application, assess possible collaboration and contact you about relevant opportunities.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, partnership, purchase, representation or publication.

Application photographs and personal information will not be published publicly merely because you submitted the form. If Ajaayabghar wishes to feature, reproduce, market or otherwise use your name, story, personal photograph or creative work publicly, the applicable permission, licence or commercial arrangement will be agreed separately.

Please upload only material that you own or are authorised to share. Do not submit confidential information or photographs containing unrelated individuals without their permission.

PAYMENTS

Online payments are processed through Razorpay. Razorpay may collect and process payment and transaction information under its own privacy policy and security practices.

Ajaayabghar generally receives transaction identifiers, payment status and limited payment details required for reconciliation, support, refunds and legal record keeping. We do not ask customers to send card PINs, UPI PINs, CVVs or online-banking passwords through forms, email or WhatsApp.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We use Shiprocket and its assigned courier or logistics partners to arrange shipment, tracking, delivery, returns and related customer support.

We may share the recipient’s name, delivery address, telephone number, email address, order details and delivery instructions only to the extent reasonably required to fulfil and manage the shipment.

COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

Our website uses necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate features such as the shopping cart, checkout, account login, security and session management. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website from functioning properly.

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, page performance, device categories, approximate location and customer journeys. Non-essential analytics cookies should be activated according to your consent choices.

• order, invoice, payment and tax records may be retained for the legally required record-keeping period;

• unsuccessful artisan applications may ordinarily be retained for up to 24 months for review and future collaboration opportunities, unless you request earlier deletion and no legal reason requires retention; and

• analytics data is retained according to the retention settings configured in the relevant analytics service.

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable.

DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical safeguards intended to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
